Garry Nobles - Tattoo & Piercing Artist

My name is Garry, owner of Skin Grafix, and I have been tattooing since 1981. I traveled to New Castle, Delaware twice a week in order to learn the art from Mike McClement. I have enjoyed much success as an artist and a spokesman for the tattoo industry.

I played an instrumental role in helping to train the North Carolina Department of Environmental Health inspectors on how to inspect tattoo facilities. I have conducted many seminars on tattooing and body piercing at East Carolina University. I have also worked with faculty of East Carolina University in order to tattoo lab rats for a NASA project. In addition, I have worked with the local media with a three part television segment on tattooing and body piercing. I have also aided in the information of several newspaper articles. Every year I take on several high school students for their senior mentorship program.

I started tattooing in the early days, when single needles were very popular. I have seen the tattoo industry change tremendously, and develop into what it is today. I have grown with these changes to become versatile working in a wide range of styles. I have never sent any of my artwork to a major publication, but have been published many times. I tattoo at many conventions and have won awards for my artwork.

Caroline Hedgepeth - Tattoo Artist

My name is Caroline Hedgepeth, and I have been tattooing for over eight years now. I have attended East Carolina University, where I majored in art. To me, tattooing is a way of life, by second nature. Artists for years have found new ways to express their talents, and tattooing is my way.

I consider it an honor and a privilege to tattoo someone and leave them with an artistic creation that they will be proud of for a lifetime. I am comfortable tattooing in any style. I have won numerous awards for my drawings and my tattoo work. I enjoy performing portraits, custom designs, and as well as free-hand designs.

Many times I will draw things for people when they have difficulty finding exactly what they want. We want people to have exactly the perfect design for them.
