Jeff - Tattoo & Piercing Artist

Jeff has been around the tattoo world for 19 years. He received his first tattoo in 1984 and collected them over the next 8 years. That’s when in 1992; he decided to pursue a career in tattooing.

Jeff is a graduate of North Carolina State. He also attended a commercial art school in Tampa Fla. Jeff won several awards for his artwork while living in Florida. He also attended more art classes at a local community college. While Jeff’s career is tattooing he also enjoys graphite drawing. You can view Jeff’s drawings that are on display in the Rocky Mount studio.

Jeff is responsible for the décor of the Rocky Mount Studio. He didn’t want a typical tattoo parlor. He wanted it to look more like an art gallery, so people would feel more at ease. He accomplished that goal, hanging a diverse amount of artwork along with plants in the studio.

Jeff has been tattooing in Rocky Mount since 1996, longer than anyone else in the area. In that time he has become known for his solid and brilliant color work. With his background in pencil drawing he also is well known for his black & gray work.

Outside the studio Jeff likes to spend time with his daughter, Camber. He enjoys growing orchids. He is also an accomplished deep-sea fisherman, operating his own boat 50-60 miles offshore, chasing sailfish and marlin.
